The Promise

The memorials we host are meant to last.

When a family buys a memorial with us, they are paying for permanence. We take that seriously. These are the commitments we make, in plain language, and how we back them up.

20-year minimum hosting

Every published memorial stays live for at least twenty years from the date of publication. No extra renewal fees, no paywall that hides the guestbook, no ads. The $349 purchase price plus the small annual hosting fee covers the full period.

You own your data, always

From your dashboard you can download a complete archive of the memorial at any time: the content, every photo's CDN URL, the AI-composed layout, guestbook messages, and candles lit. The format is plain JSON so it can be read by any tool, opened decades from now, or migrated elsewhere.

No silent deletion

We will never remove a memorial without giving you at least 12 months of notice, delivered to the owner's email and posted to the dashboard. If we fail to reach you, we will archive the page as static HTML and continue to serve it read-only rather than deleting.

No predatory renewal tactics

We have read the complaints about other platforms and we refuse to use them. No auto-emails during bereavement to pressure payment. No “pay or the guestbook disappears”. Hosting renews quietly or you cancel with one click from billing.

Sunset policy

If LifeStoree ever ceases to operate, we commit to (a) twelve months' notice, (b) automatically emailing every family a fresh data export, and (c) publishing the tooling needed to run the memorial as static files on any web host. The memorial belongs to the family; this service happens to host it.

Verified family

Memorials are ours to moderate. We remove false or fraudulent pages promptly when a verified family member asks us to. We do not sell memorial data, run ads against it, or use it to train models.
