Joyce Tait’s memorial, live

Meet Sage

The quiet hand behind every page.

Sage is the intelligence we built in-house. Named for the herb long burned and kept for memory, wisdom and protection across cultures. She studies every photograph for a face, a mood, a small clue about who was loved. She reads the eulogy the way an old family friend would. Then she writes the chapters, picks the hero image, chooses the palette, and quietly builds a memorial that could only ever belong to one life. No two memorials look the same.

On the headstone

A life lives on past the stone.

Order the optional stainless steel QR plaque, laser-engraved and weather-proof. Mount it on a headstone, an urn, a bench, a keepsake. Anyone who passes can scan it and meet the person behind the name.

  • A stranger at the cemetery meets the person behind the name.
  • A grandchild, decades from now, meets someone they never got to know.
  • The community keeps remembering, not just the family.
A QR plaque on a headstone

Stainless steel, laser-engraved. $79 add-on. Ships Australia-wide.

Not a template

Other platforms hand you a theme. Sage writes a memorial from scratch.

Most platforms give you twelve layouts in a dropdown and ask you to pick one. Here, Sage reads every photograph, hears every line of the eulogy, and writes from a blank page. The hero. The palette. The chapters. A memorial nobody else on earth has, because nobody else lived that life.

Every photo, truly seen

Sage reads each face, the era, the tone, what is actually happening in frame. Crops keep faces centred, always. No chopped-off heads. No stray wedding group shot shouting over the portrait you loved.

The eulogy, heard

Paste the words. Upload a Word doc. Scribble three paragraphs. Sage pulls out family, work, the things that mattered, the way a life was lived, and drafts a warm biography in the right register.

A page composed, not chosen

Hero. Portrait. Ten story chapters, each beside the photo that belongs with it. Gallery. Palette. Tone. Decided by Sage, not ticked off a list by a stranger.

How it works

Minutes. Not hours.

You bring the photos and the story. Sage does the thinking.

01

Every photo, read

Faces, era, tone, sharpness. Sage gives every image a close look, so the layout knows which photo belongs on the hero, which is a quiet moment, which does not belong at all.

02

The eulogy, heard

Paste it, upload a Word doc, or type a handful of paragraphs. Sage pulls out the family, the work, the loves, the character, and drafts a warm biography you can edit line by line.

03

The page composes itself

Hero. Portrait. Up to ten story chapters, each paired with the photo that belongs beside it. Gallery, palette, design language. All settled in a single pass, informed by everything Sage saw.

04

Shared. Kept. For decades.

A public link for the group chat. A QR plaque for the headstone. A printable tribute card for the wake. Twenty years of hosting, in writing.

Design languages

Three tones. Sage picks the one that fits.

Chosen from what she saw in the photographs and heard in the eulogy. Preview all three before you publish. Override any time.

Cinematic tone example

Cinematic

Deep black. Full-bleed portraits. Gold type. For the formal, the stoic, the life lived with quiet weight.

Album tone example

Album

Warm paper. Polaroid frames. Softer type. For the candid, the messy, the full-of-family kind of love.

Gallery tone example

Gallery

Museum restraint. Generous white. Elegant type. For the photo-forward life where the pictures carry the story.

A cause, linked

Add a chosen charity. Visitors give directly, in lieu of flowers.

A tribute card to hold

A printable A4 keepsake with portrait and QR. For the wake, the mantle, the mail.

The whole family, invited

One link for siblings, cousins, grandkids. Add photos, rewrite chapters, moderate the book.

Editable any time

Add a photo ten years from now. Fix a spelling. Rewrite a chapter. Live within a minute.

The promise

Meant to last.

Other memorial platforms have burned families. Legacy.com hid guestbooks behind paywalls. ForeverMissed deleted pages without warning. AfterNote shut down after eleven years of so-called lifetime pricing. We wrote our promise down so none of that ever happens here.

Twenty years, in writing

Your payment covers twenty years of hosting. No renewal emails to your family mid-grief. No price hikes the year after you buy.

Your data, always yours

Download the full archive any time: every photo, every word, the whole memorial. Walk away whenever you want. We hand it all back.

No silent deletions, ever

We will never remove a memorial without warning. If we ever had to, we give twelve months notice and a clean export.

If we ever close

If LifeStoree shuts down one day, we publish the code to run every memorial as static files on any host, free. No memorial gets abandoned.

Pricing

One memorial. Two ways to pay.

Same Sage. Same one-of-one page. Pick the single-payment tier to skip renewals for the full twenty years.
